MAULID NABI AND 7 PARTIES IN RUMAH DUNIA

Celebrating birthday means celebrating the first existence and also contemplating again about everything having been reached. Birthday celebration will feel empty if only a party without reaching means of contemplation. With birthday celebration, we are back to ask the beginning and the end our existence. Here I try to give a meaning of seventh Rumah Dunia’s birthday by reaching moral values which can be contemplated.

IQRO-THE PEN
If the first verse of Al-Quran relegated to prophet of Muhammad SAW is Iqra, it means read. Because of reading, the secret covers of live will be opened and the people will understand totally their existence and their surroundings. So a community which celebrates its seventh birthday tries to socialize and transform a reading and writing culture to the society; especially Banten young generation. After a word “iqra”, isn’t there a word “Qalam” which means a pen?

CHANGE MISSION
There is a tight relation between missions carried by prophet of Muhammad SAW and fought by Rumah Dunia Community. The prophet of Muhammad SAW had a mission to reform the Arab society. At the time the Arab society was in folly. Rumah Dunia has a mission to reform the Banten condition; to change the Banten image as a place of magical practices of a questionable nature and a place of Jawara who shows the strength becomes.

We can take hypothetically that Banten now is Mecca city when it happened at the jahiliyah era; Corruption, hardness, destitution, low education level and citizenry prosperity. Nowadays Rumah Dunia has responsibility close resemblance with our prophet. There are giving the brightness, new point of view, and becoming Banten as “Baldatun Thayyibatun Wa Rabbun Ghafur” by literate way.
